Who we are

DiveAtlas (best-places-to-scuba-dive.com) publishes an independent, data-driven directory of scuba diving destinations. We are a static informational website. You can reach us at [email protected].

What we collect

We do not collect, store, or process any personal information about our visitors.

No accounts, forms, or comments

This site has no account registration, no contact forms that store data, and no comments. We never ask for your name, email, or phone number.

No advertising trackers

We run no advertising and no cross-site tracking that builds a profile of individual visitors. Your dives stay your own.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics in aggregate to understand which pages divers find useful. Analytics data is anonymized and used only to improve the directory — never to target advertising at you.

Hosting and edge logs

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare may process standard server logs (such as IP address, user-agent, and requested URL) for security and to keep the site running. This data is used by Cloudflare under its own privacy policy, not by us.

Third-party services

Our pages load resources from a small number of third parties: Google Analytics, Google Fonts and Font Awesome for typography and icons, and the YouTube embed for our destination video. Those services have their own privacy policies and may process standard request data (such as your IP address) when you load them.

External links

Some pages link to external websites (dive operator sites, certification agencies, and research references). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.
